Quynh Tran
Biography:
Quynh joined the Hawai‘i Natural Energy Institute (HNEI) in June 2019 as a Postdoctoral fellow after completing her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Palermo, Italy. Currently, she works as a Power System engineer II, focusing on studying the production cost model for power systems, specifically exploring the integration of renewable energy resources. She’s also participating in the research and development of advanced power systems solutions to facilitate the seamless grid integration of renewable energy, with a strong emphasis on achieving efficiency, security, reliability, and resilience in grid operations. Throughout her career, she has authored or coauthored more than 30 papers published in various reputable journals and presented at conferences in these fields.
