Biography:

Dr. Carlo Sapijaszko is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the field of education and technology. Currently serving as the Senior Dean at Strayer University, he provides clear and effective leadership to the College of Technology and Professional Studies. Dr. Sapijaszko's responsibilities include conducting holistic evaluations of IT and Professional Study programs, ensuring curriculum alignment with standards, and maintaining partnerships at national, state, and local levels.

With a background as an IT Program Dean at Strayer University and Academic Program Director at Western Governors University, he has been instrumental in curriculum design, development, and support for IT and Cybersecurity degree programs. His commitment to excellence is evident through his efforts to align programs with accreditation requirements and industry standards. Dr. Sapijaszko's journey in academia started as a Professor at DeVry University in 1994, progressing through various leadership roles such as Dean of Electronics and Computer Technology Program and National Senior Academic Specialist. His experience extends to the private sector, where he worked as a Hardware and Software Engineer at DE Labs and General Electric.

Education-wise, Dr. Sapijaszko holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Central Florida, a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary, and a Bachelor's Degree in the same field. In addition to his extensive professional experience, Dr. Sapijaszko is committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements, evident in his recent certification in Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy from Cornell. He has also contributed significantly to the academic community through patents, publications, and presentations at conferences.

A Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, Dr. Carlo Sapijaszko is a dedicated leader and educator, ensuring the success and excellence of academic programs under his purview.
