Power Grid Engineering will present some of their recent work in the renewables industry. The chief topic will be SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) as it relates to the automatic function and remote control of multiple power plant controllers on a single wind turbine park. Integration challenges encountered will be evaluated and discussed, with multiple solutions presented. Methods for interfacing with different vendors and automation logic using the IEC-61131 standard will be included in the lecture.
