Topic:

3D Modelling and rendering.

The topic presents main methods of modelling and different types of 3D surface. Step by step 3D object creation. Introduction to rendering process using different rendering engines. 

Biography:

Dr. Gintarė Žekienė is a lecturer at Kaunas university of technology, Faculty of Informatics since 2016. Thesis was defended in the field of machine learning and language recognition in Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Different fields accompany each other and ensures diversity in teaching and research practice. A member of the scientific group Application of Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing Methods in Multimedia. 

Evelina Stanevičienė of Kaunas University of Technology

Topic:

Materials, textures and lighting in 3D modelling.

The topic introduces modelling and application of materials to 3D objects and the relation between material and texture. Explanation of the main types of lighting, the classification of lighting methods and the relationship between light and toning. 

Biography:

Dr. Evelina Stanevičienė is a lecturer and junior researcher at Kaunas University of Technology Faculty of Informatics. In 2019, she successfully defended her doctoral thesis on the application of hybrid genetic algorithms for the grey pattern problem. The researcher's main research interests are related to hybrid heuristic algorithms and optimization problems. A member of the scientific group Application of Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing Methods in Multimedia.
