IEEE Day celebration - Deep-Dive into IEEE
IEEE- Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers is the most
prestigious and oldest existing international association of engineers who strive to achieve great improvements in the fields of science and technology,
especially fields concerning electronics.
IEEE Day commemorates the anniversary of the first time when IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas, which took place in 1884.
Worldwide celebrations demonstrate the ways thousands of IEEE members in local communities join together to collaborate on ideas that leverage technology for a better tomorrow.
Here at BIT, we worked together to celebrate this momentous occasion with a technical event titled – “Deep Dive into IEEE” on 30/10/2023.
With this, we dived deep into technology, shared knowledge, and celebrated our club's accomplishments. We revisited the various events conducted by the club in the past year which included the PCB design workshop, various workshops on blockchain and other technologies, a technical quiz catering to the needs of the budding engineers. We also celebrated the success of our best non-technical event of the year – “Among US”.
Further, the chairs of both the CAS and CS societies briefed us about the aim of the societies with an overview of the events lined up for the next year.
We concluded the event by giving information about the ways in which anybody interested can become a member of this esteemed society.
