Viva la France. Join us for a Smart Cities Session on Paris France. Why does Paris have one of the top network, transportation and health Care Centers in the world? Find out what makes Paris sustainable, resilient and energy efficient.

Join us for a session on Smart Cities Paris France. What makes this City one of the top in the world? Find out how their hosting of the Olympic Games this year 2024 is sustainable, resilient, and energy efficient for years to come.

Paris isn't just a smart city -- it's the world's original smart city, thanks to a massive rebuilding of infrastructure and technology in the mid-19th century. But will being a smart city help it succeed as host of the 2024 Olympics? The answer is a qualified yes -- because many of the improvements undertaken during the reign of Napoleon III remain powerful driving forces in 21st-century Paris. Based on my research as the co-author of "Smart Cities, Smart Future (Wiley 2018), my talk will clearly explain what makes a city genuinely smart and I'll show why Paris can rightfully call itself a smart city.
