This is the establishment and inauguration of STEM club in GOVERNMENT TECHNICAL COLLEGE, ENUGU AGIDI, ANAMBRA STATE. The program was intented to create an avenue to mentor these students in STEM. 62 students were the initial members of the club though we reached 120 students, 20 parents and 18 teachers. Election was done and we had the chair, the vice chair, the secretary and the publicity cordinator/web master. A teacher, Mr Ifeanyi Onukwube was made the counsellor.

STEM kits were donated to the club and these include 10 project board, 5 multimetres, 2 charge controllers, 2 solar panels etc 

Coincidentally, the day we did this inauguration of the STEM club was a career day for the school and we had to also address parents, students and teachers.

The speaker spoke on the importance of STEM education as he encouraged the students to be serious with their membership of the STEM club. He urged them to consider choosing a career in STEM to solve the numerous problems in Nigeria.

Biography:

He is an electronic engineer with expertise in Renewable Energy, robotics and artificial Intelligence. He is also a lecturer in Electronic and Computer Engineering department, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Anambra state Nigeria
