This workshop is a hands-on working event. Each attendee will get a NanoVNA (Vector Network) analyzer.
You are encouraged to bring a device (DUT) that you woud like to make measurements on. We will learn how to make the following measurements:

Speakers
Michael Kirkhart
Nano VNA
Biography:
Michael Kirkhart is an electronics engineer, hacker, lifelong student, and amateur radio operator. During his career, he has worked in factory automation, vehicle navigation, and RF testing. He currently works in automotive cybersecurity as a penetration tester; this means he gets paid to hack - how cool is that? During his time as an RF test engineer, he used vector network analyzers (VNAs) as part of his daily work. As a result now, his homemade SWR bridge, which he used for tuning antennas, has sat on a shelf gathering dust. While "not an expert", he is an experienced VNA user, and during this event, he will provide an overview of VNAs along with specific use cases, all using the (relatively) inexpensive NanoVNA.
