A Webinar on Angel Investment/ VC Funding Opportunity for Early Stage Entrepreneurs was organised on Monday, 21 August 2023 by NCE IEEE student branch in association with IEEE Mysore, Subsection and IEEE Banglore section.

Dr. Surendran D. - Founder & CEO - SKS Skill Fasteners Private Limited - Start-up Mentor, Social Worker, Digital Transformation Specialist, Innovation Ambassador IIC, SIH Mentor, EduTech Consultant, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India was the resource person.  The event was conducted in On-line mode with Google Teams.

Dr. Surendran D. covered all information pertaining to investment requirements, funding agencies and opportunities available for the start-up/ new entrepreneurs.  He elaborated on about thedifferent sources of funds from Central Government,State Government and Private agencies, Value Propositions, Risks involved in entrepreneurship, measures to overcome risks and many aspects very useful for the budding entrepreneurs.Around 100 participants, including faculty and students, attended the event, and all were benefited by the expert talk (40 members were IEEE members).

The coordinators of the event, Dr. Ravikiran H.K. Assoc. Professor, Dept. of ECE, and  Dr. Deepak H. A. Assoc. Professor, Dept. of ECE, recorded the cooperation and participation of all the faculty members and staff of the department.
