NCETE-2023
Navkis College of Engineering, Hassan in association with IEEE Student Branch conducted National Conference on Emerging Technologies in Engineering(NCETE)-2023.
For the Inauguration Dr Shivakumar G, Principal(Designate), AMC Engineering College, Bengaluru, Professor & Head, Dean(Research & Development),MCE,Hassan and, Mr.Sunil.T.Shambhatnavar, Vice President-Sales & Marketing-TMI SYSTEMS, Bengaluru were invited as the Chief Guests. Dr. H.S Mohana, Principal presided over the function. Dr. H. S. Prabhakara, Dean(Operations), Dr. A. N. Myna, Vice-Principal, Professor and Head, Dept.of CSE, Dr. Wilfred John Vaz, Professor, Dept. of ECE, were present. All the HOD’s, Faculty Members, and students of the college are participated.
The programme commenced with an invocation.Dr. A. N. Myna, Vice-Principal, welcomed all the dignitaries, HOD’s, Faculty Members, Participants and Students. The dignitaries inaugurated NCETE-2023 by lighting the auspicious lamp, followed by the release of proceedings.Dr. Wilfred John Vazhighlighted the significance of NCETE-2023 and informed that 101 research papers were submitted to the conference and after review process 64 papers were selected for presentation.
Dr Shivakumar Gin his inaugural address he highlightedcurrentTechnologies in engineering,Dr.H. S. Prabhakara advised students to prioritise academics as well as participate in other activities such as paper presentations at national and international conferences.The principal, Dr. H.S. Mohana, gave the presidential address. He thanked the faculty members for their efforts and advised to host more similar events in the future.Dr.Deepak H A,Associate Professor,Dept. of ECE, proposed vote of thanks and thanked all those who directly or indirectly supported in successfully organizing the programme.
The inaugural session was followed by a keynote address on “Emerging Technologies” byMr.Sunil.T.Shambhatnavar.All the participants, faculty members and students were benefited by the Keynote address. After inaugural session 6 parallel online paper presentation were scheduled using google meet and all the 6 parallel paper presentation sessions are assessed by domain experts from different colleges. At the end of the day, a valedictory session is conducted online. During the valedictory, participants are asked to share their feedback, and the best three papers were announced by Dr.Ravikiran H. K., Associate Professor,Dept. of ECE.
Ms. NaziyaFarheen H. S,Assistant Professor,Dept.of ECE and Dr.Yashaswini P R, Assistant Professor, Dept.of ECE, did the compering of Inaugural session and Ms.SiddikaSabhatAnjum, Assistant Professor, Dept.ofECE andMs. Asha J, Assistant Professor, Dept.of ECE did the compering of valedictory session.
