InspiHER{Tech}V2.0-Opening Ceremony
"InspiHER{Tech} V2.0” aims to inspire female undergraduates to delve into the world of technology and science. This program offers participants the chance to develop leadership skills, encourage teamwork, and display their talents in the science and technology sector.
The program consists of three main rounds:
- Round 01 - InspiHER{MAT101}: A MATLAB coding competition
- Round 02 – InspiHER{MindFest}: A Mathematical related Quiz
- Round 03 - InspiHER{CodeWars}: An algorithmic coding competition
The opening ceremony of InspiHER{Tech} V2.0 was delightful. The event began with a warm welcome from the Chairwoman of the IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group of SLTC. The Student Branch Chairman of IEEE SLTC spoke about the importance of the event, and Ms. Warunika Hippola emphasized the significance of IEEE WIE.
Following this, the title sponsor was introduced, and Ms Theja Samarakoon shared her thoughts on InspiHER{Tech} V1.0, recounting her experiences. The agenda covered specific event details and workshops, with Mr. Pramuka Weerasinghe adding an educational touch through his discussion on the MATLAB session series.
The event turned interactive, involving participants in a Q&A session. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt note of thanks to all contributors for making InspiHER{Tech} V2.0 possible.

Ms. Warunika Hippola
Biography:
She is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Chairperson of IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka. She previously held the position of Assistant Secretary at the IEEE Sri Lanka Section. With over four years at Sri Lanka Technological Campus, she has been serving as a Lecturer (Probationary) since March 2022. Before this, she gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant and played significant roles in IEEE Young Professionals and IEEE WIE Sri Lanka Section. Her diverse roles reflect her strong commitment to professional growth and community service.

Biography:
An enthusiastic B.Tech (Hons) in Agricultural Technology student at Sri Lanka Technological Campus, she demonstrated a keen sense of ambition and energy. Excelling in collaborative settings, she consistently delivered optimal results within set timelines. Notably, she held the position of former chairwoman of the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Student Branch Affinity Group of SLTC. With a positive outlook, she actively volunteered in projects for IEEE, SEDS, and LEO throughout her university life, underscoring her dedication to both personal and professional development.
