EmpowHER
EmpowHER was a hackathon centered on women and organised by IEEE GTBIT SB and IEEE IIITD SB, occurred at IIITD. The primary goal of this event was to empower women in the field of engineering. Teams of four participants were tasked with developing practical solutions for specific problems. Spanning 24 hours, the hackathon included both ideation and innovation phases. The Women in Engineering (WiE) affinity group of IEEE IIIT-Delhi initiated the event by outlining the EmpowHER hackathon's scope and tracks, providing a detailed description of expected outcomes. The ideation phase commenced, and after a compelling presentation round, judges selected the best ideas and prototypes among the finalists based on comprehensive criteria. The hackathon concluded with the announcement of winners, followed by an award ceremony.
