For celebrating IEEE WIE Day IEEE WIE UP Section India organised an expert lecture on Women Role of Green Technologies in Ozone Layer Protection and Human Health
Guest Speaker Dr Anikender Kumar, Senior Scientist, Environmental Monitoring and Research Centre, India Meteorological Department, New Delhi addressed the audience on Substitute Ozone-Friendly Alternatives, Renewable Energy Sources, gender-responsive policies that prioritize environmental sustainability.
Dr. Sweta Tripathi as an ambassador for IEEE WIE Day discussed how women in technology can leverage digital platforms to raise awareness about climate change and inspire action.
