Topic:

Understanding Phase Noise: Introduction to Phase Noise

Phase noise is one of the most important performance characteristics of radio-frequency devices, and this webinar provides a practical technical introduction to phase noise and how phase noise is measured using both spectrum analyzers and dedicated phase noise analyzers.  In addition to discussing phase noise fundamentals, a brief overview of more advanced phase noise related measurements will also be provided.

Biography:

Paul Denisowski is a Product Management Engineer at Rohde & Schwarz, where he covers a wide range of test and measurement, radio communications, and direction finding applications. He has over 25 years of experience in the test and measurement industry and previously held both field and R&D positions at Alcatel, Fujitsu, and HP / Agilent. Paul holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, a Master’s degree in Germanic Languages from the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill), and was also a guest researcher at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
