Kent Kensmoe from Capital Electric will be presenting on Cyber Security in the Electric Power industry. Kent's presentation will cover possible consequences of cyber attacks, tools to mitigate risks, security in practice, and industry awareness and support.

Biography:

Kent Kensmoe – IT Supervisor Capital Electric Cooperative.  Kent has been working in the IT space for 25 years.  Capital Electric Cooperative services 19,000 plus co-op members in Burleigh and southern Sheridan County in North Dakota.  Kent’s team is responsible for the maintaining and securing the co-ops Data Center and IT assets.  Currently Kent serves on the NISC Member Advisory Infrastructure and Security Committee and also serves as a North Dakota VMUG Leader.
