Biography:

Richard Helle has a distinguished career in the magnetics industry. Having graduated with a BSBA from Clark University, he studied materials technology and business administration.  He was engaged in technical support and marketing for Crucible Magnetics, at the time, the largest producer of Permanent Magnets in the world.

Rich subsequently worked with Magnetics, Inc., Magnetic Metals, and Permag/Dexter before joining with BJA Magnetics.  He authored patent claims in the compaction of particulate metals technology.  Rich has served on the board of various associations including the American Society for metals, and Permanent Magnet Division of MC&MA.  He has provided expert testimony in legal matters regarding metals technology.

Rich is well versed in the workings of the PRC producers of magnets, having visited and vetted over 90 producers over the past 25 years.  He has helped develop processing and technology improvement at several manufacturing partners and has established an excellent working relationship with management of more than a dozen well-recognized permanent magnet manufacturers in China.
