IEEE GRIET PES Student Branch Chapter has organized a 3-day non-tech event at GRIET amphitheater from 11th to 13th October 2023. It was a highly successful non-tech event hosted by the e-sports series College Rivals. The central attraction of this event was the introduction of a gaming truck, providing students and gaming enthusiasts with a unique and exhilarating esports experience.The star of the show was undoubtedly the gaming truck that was stationed at the college campus for the entirety of the event. This state-of-the-art mobile gaming unit featured a variety of gaming consoles, high-end PCs, and an array of popular esports titles. Students and attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in thrilling multiplayer games and compete against their peers.The event hosted various esports tournaments for games like FIFA, Valorant, BGMI, Road to Valour, and Techen7. Participants could showcase their gaming skills and compete for attractive prizes, enhancing the competitive spirit among the attendees. The event featured a Red Bull giveaway, ensuring that attendees could enjoy their gaming experience to the fullest. Live music and entertainment performances added to the vibrant atmosphere of the event. College Rivals served as a platform for students with shared interests to connect, network, and build a sense of community around esports. It fostered camaraderie among students and enthusiasts who share a passion for gaming. The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with hundreds of students and gaming enthusiasts participating and attending various activities throughout the three days. The event not only entertained and engaged the attendees but also created awareness about the esports industry and the potential career opportunities it offers.
