Biography:

Interdisciplinary engineer with skills in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Cyber Security, and Network engineering. I went to college to study software but after college the industry wasn't being fair with me due to the lack of job history. At College I discovered IEEE and it has been a major life changer for me. The skills I learned as an IEEE member have gotten me where I am today. Due to my college major being hard to get into I sought other opportunities and like a message from God when I was at my lowest in life a situation led to me becoming what I was predicted to become in high school, an electrical engineer. What I love about my job is how I still get to use my past knowledge to help others when I don't have much on my plate but also how much I've grown in the first year. I came in with basic EE knowledge but then half way through my first year I found out that someone was applying for a certification that I was welcomed to join in receiving that would change my company. I had become the first person in my entire company to receive the title of Manufacturing Technical Representative under UL 508 A. the test was hard and I found that the other EEs on my team struggled to get the title harder than I did. Out of the three engineers that were destined to get the title only myself and another made it and the third has years more experience in the subject then we did. I will forever be a member of IEEE because it changed my life for the best!
