Topic:

Redefining testing for Bluetooth Low Energy

Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) continuously evolves to meet consumer application demands. It now has capabilities for audio streaming and broadcasting, and there are upcoming features for channel sounding and high-accuracy distance measurements (HADM).
Today’s Bluetooth location services offer proximity and ranging capabilities. These will be further enhanced with the introduction of Bluetooth® Channel Sounding, which will support secure-ranging applications. With Bluetooth® 5.2, the Bluetooth® SIG paved the way for the future of Bluetooth LE Audio to usher in a new era, expanding support beyond essential speech communication and audio streaming. For example, introducing audio broadcasting, also known as AURACAST®, opens up exciting possibilities for public audio scenarios. These new features make testing and certification more important for best-in-class customer experience.
This webinar will overview the latest Bluetooth LE developments and demonstrate related test solutions.

In this webinar, you will learn more about:

  • Bluetooth technology and market update
  • LE over-the-air (OTA) test mode
  • Channel sounding - principles and testing
  • LE Audio - principles and testing
