Discover the cutting-edge research facilities of the Louisiana Accelerator Center (LAC), situated at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Recognized as a premier Research Center by the Louisiana Board of Regents, LAC hosts dynamic research programs that delve into biomaterials analysis, microfabrication, and the development of high-energy focused ion beam systems. 

Following the tour, we invite you to join us for a social gathering at Agave Mexican Grill & Cantina, conveniently located at 525 Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506. William A. Hollerman received the M.Sc. degree in physics with emphasis in radiation physics from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA, in 1986, and the Ph.D. degree in applied physics with materials science concentration from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, Normal, AL, USA, in 1996.,He currently holds the position of Dr. and Mrs. S. W. Cosper/BORSF Endowed Associate Professor of Physics with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Lafayette, LA, USA. He has measured the triboluminescent properties and effects of radiations of hundreds of materials. He has published many research papers in various journals.,Dr. Hollerman is a member of the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Society.
