Industry Speaker Series 2024 - Talk-1
Industry Speaker Series 2024 is an initiative by IEEE Women In Engineering, Rochester to showcase local industry, thereby, providing opportunities to our Student/Young Professional/WIE members to have closer interactions with industry. The goal is to host multiple talks during the year. The first one in the series is by Dr. Ann Kazakos from MKS Instruments Inc.

- Considering MKS and Xerox are large corporations: How to navigate and explore opportunities to expand your career to best suit your interests

Ann Kazakos of MKS Instruments Inc.
Biography:
Ann Kazakos is Sr. Director Product Management and Strategic Planning at MKS Instruments, Power Solutions Division. In her current role, Ann is responsible for defining product line and technical roadmaps for Power products primarily serving the Semiconductor Industry.
Ann’s tenure for the past 20+ years at MKS has taken her across the globe where she interfaces with semiconductor customers and technical teams in Asia to understand how Power Solutions products can help solve customer’s most challenging problems.
Prior to MKS, Ann was Product Manager for Veeco’s Chemical Vapor Deposition Product Line and held various positions at Xerox Corporation including Technical Specialist for thin films before moving into the role of Product Manager for Ink Jet Products.
Ann holds a BS in Chemical Engineering and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State.
