Benefits of IEEE Membership for Undergraduate, Graduate and Academic Professionals
The main moto behind organising this seminar is to form an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) student branch/chapter in our university. All the students and staff members of the University was invited to participate in this event to understand the various benefits & advantages of IEEE membership and also about the different types of memberships available along with various IEEE societies formed. It was observed that there was a good gathering to participate in this event. The resource person of the event was Dr. Aditya Prasad Padhy the Assistant Professor of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. A gift hamper containing various kinds of chocolates was gifted to the winner by the Vice Chancellor. The event was successfully coordinated by Mr. Kumaresh Pal, Assistant Professor, Dept. of E.E.E. & Dr. Kasinath Jena, Assistant Professor, Dept. of E.E.E., School of Engg. & I.T.

Benefits of IEEE membership for students and teaching professionals
The primary moto behind organising this seminar is to form an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) student branch/chapter in our university. IEEE students chapter will be primarily created for undergraduate and graduate student members of our university.
Biography:
Dr. Aditya Prasad Padhy graduated from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, India in 2010 with B.Tech. Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He received an M.Tech. Degree in Power System Engineering from the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, Odisha in 2013. He received a Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur, India in 2021. Currently, he has been working as an Assistant Professor at Arka Jain University, Jamshedpur, India, and IEEE student Branch Counselor at Arka Jain University, Jamshedpur, India since 2023. His research interests include electric vehicles, power systems, system modeling, controller design, interval systems, model order reduction, applications of optimization algorithms, and power electronics. He contributed to the body of knowledge by publishing several research papers in international journals and conferences. He is currently a Member, of IEEE.
