Biography: Karen Ulferts has been working with unmanned systems since 2005.  Her technical career began with the QF-4 Full-Scale Aerial Target Drone performing systems testing and auto pilot software development.  She is presently Treasurer of the Lone Star Chapter of the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI).  Karen joined AUVSI in 2007 and has also held the offices of President, Vice President, and Secretary for the chapter.  Her education includes a bachelor and master of science degree in Industrial Engineering (IE) from the University of Tennessee.  Karen has published various papers for ensuring proper documentation and reporting within the engineering decision making process including the moral dilemma of artificial intelligence in autonomous systems.

Description: Karen will explore the gender differences which have evolved in ethics for men and women.
