Signal Processing and Machine Learning with Intelligent Applications
In a world full of rapid technological advancements, primarily due to the information technology (IT) sector, Signal Processing (SP) is integral. Defined as the manipulations and modifications of message-conveying mediums such as sounds, images, videos, and electromagnetic waves to extract useful and usable information, it has a solidified and well-established mathematical foundation underneath. SP also serves as an invaluable foundation to Machine Learning (ML), an increasingly demanding and ubiquitous topic. SP and ML often go together to produce intelligent and
autonomous systems.
This presentation will cover the importance of signal processing in the IT section, applications, future prospects as well as what you need to succeed in the subfield of electrical engineering. It will also cover how classical implementation of SP or DSP can be vastly improved by complementing it with ML modules.
