The FutureTech Catalyst event is designed to equip high school students with the knowledge and skills needed for careers in technology while contributing to Indonesia's advancement. This program offers 10th and 11th graders the opportunity to explore subjects they are passionate about, providing early exposure to STEM fields. By doing so, it helps them make informed decisions about their academic paths, nurtures their interest and confidence in STEM, fosters a spirit of innovation, and breaks down misconceptions about the challenges of studying STEM.

Topic:

Internet of Things (IoT)

Participants will learn the fundamental theories of circuits, including understanding voltage, current, and resistance, accompanied by hands-on practice using PacketTracer and NodeMCU to create a simple program for controlling LEDs. Additionally, participants will be introduced to basic programming using Arduino. By the end of the session, participants are expected to assemble an IoT device circuit.
