The YESIST'12 prelims, organized by Sri Sai Ram Institute of Technology, unfolded with great fervour
and enthusiasm on 1
st March, 2024. The event aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase 
their innovations in the realm of technology. The event was graced by the presence of Mrs. 
Ramalatha Marimuthu, Director of IEXPLORE Foundation Ombudsam, who honoured us as the Chief 
Guest. Mrs. Ramalatha ma’am’s esteemed presence set the tone for the day's proceedings, inspiring 
participants with her words of wisdom and encouragement. Additionally, a distinguished panel of 
juries, including Mr. Monish Kumar, Android Developer at Zoho Corp; Mr. Balaji Rajendran, CEO of 
Softrate Technologies; and Ms. Meenaloshini Muthukumar, Full Stack Engineering Analyst at 
Accenture, lent their expertise to the event, ensuring fair evaluation and recognition of innovative 
projects.
The day commenced with an engaging opening ceremony. Starting off with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu 
and followed by the welcome address delivered by Ms. Laasya Gandham. The event was then 
proceeded to the addresses by Mrs. Marimuthu and the esteemed panel of jury. Attendees then 
dispersed into various tracks, such as MakerFair, the Innovation Challenge, and the Special Track, 
where they showcased their projects. After a refreshing lunch break, the event continued with the 
distribution of awards, recognizing the outstanding performance. The awards ceremony celebrated 
the creativity and ingenuity of participants, motivating them to continue their pursuit of excellence 
in their respective fields.
The Valedictory session marked the conclusion of YESIST'12, with announcements of winners and 
expressions of gratitude from the organizers. A few words were shared by Mr, Vinish S, the IEEE SB 
Chairman and the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Saritha G, the IEEE SB Advisor. The event 
concluded on a patriotic note, with a rendition of the national anthem. YESIST'12 left a lasting impact 
on all participants, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that will continue to thrive 
in the years to come.
