Biography:
Mr. Ankur Kumar obtained his M.Tech in Civil Engineering from Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur in 2015 and presently he is Pursuing PhD in Civil Engineering with specialization in Environmental Engineering from Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur. Presently, he is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Buddha Institute of Technology, Gorakhpur. Mr Kumar is receipt of prestigious “NPTEL STAR BELIEVER” Award 2020 feliciated by IIT, Madras for successfully completeing 7 NPTEL certification course in Elite category in his credit for a given academic calendar 2019-2020. He is appointed as a scientific committee member of Institute for Engineering Research and Publication (IFERP). He is also the lifetime professional member of Engineers council of India Limited (ECI).
His Research area includes Climate Change Assessment using mHM Model, Ground water modeling using Artifical Intelligence and has gone through 6 months internship from National Institue of Technology, Roorkee. Mr. Kumar has published 2 international publication in scopus indexed journal and has published 8 research papers in International and National Conferences. The research projects under his able guidance has bagged a prestigious grant of Rs 20000 under UPCST project grant scheme and he has also mentored several research projects claiming state and national level awards including selection in Chhatra Vishwakarma Awards for three consecutive years.
He has successfully undergone faculty Development programme for Valuation of Startup and Incubation from IIM, Lucknow. He plays a pivotal role in conducting various start-up pitching competition under the aegis of Kalam Centre for Innovation and Incubation of Startups (KCIIS), Lucknow.
