Photonics Design Contest at SIR MVIT

The IEEE Photonics Society Student Chapter Sir MVIT organized a Photonics Design Contest on 14th February 2024. In this design contest, students presented various photonics hardware projects, such as audio and text data transmission using light waves, IoT IR sensor projects, and software satellite and visible light communication projects. Photonics design contest  aims to foster creativity and innovation in the field of photonics technology. By challenging participants to develop novel solutions or applications using photonics principles, this contest encourages the exploration of new ideas and the development of cutting-edge technologies. The total number of 65 participants from ECE dept participated in the design competition. This event was coordinated by  Ms. Vijayashri V. Belgaonkar Assistant Professor, Department of ECE
