Lower earth orbit (LEO) and very lower earth (VLEO) constellation based satellite communication is going to the forefront in the 5G advanced and 6G non-terrestial communication networks. Non-terrestial networks using satcom can provide affordable, relaiable broadband services to areas of remote access and can provide secure connectivity to defense needs.Keeping in view of the current technology trends, this talk aims to provide the overview of satcom ground terminals, technology advancements and antenna design complexity involved in the segment.

Biography:

Mr. Manoj is currently working as a Manager, in the Department of Development & Engineering antenna SBU of Bharat Electronics Ltd, Ghaziabad. He is responsible for Design & Development of Antenna Systems for Radar & Satcom applications. He has a total of 12+ years of experience, and has designed and successfully developed antenna & antenna arrays for passive & active phased primary radars, linear antenna arrays for Secondary radars (IFF Systems), Reflector based antenna systems for VSAT, Earth Station Antenna Systems, reflector based antenna for Satcom On the Move & Man Pack Terminals.
