SAMRIDHHI 2024

On March 4th, 2024, the IEEE YESIST12 Prelims event, SAMRIDDHI, unfolded with tremendous enthusiasm and intellectual fervor. A staggering 74 abstracts poured in, showcasing the innovative prowess of aspiring minds. From this pool, 55 teams, comprising approximately 220 students hailing from diverse institutions, were shortlisted for the Prelims, setting the stage for a day brimming with creativity and ingenuity. The event featured an array of stimulating tracks including the Special Track, Innovation Challenge, Maker Faire, and WePower, each promising a unique exploration of technology and ideas. The day kicked off with an inaugural ceremony at 9:50 AM, followed by the Prelims running from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM, where participants engaged ardently in presenting their abstracts. Dr. J. Sofia Priya Dharshini, serving as the Pilot Institution SPOC, and Dr. D.V. Ashok Kumar, leading the direction, spearheaded the event's coordination with finesse. A distinguished panel of jury members, including Mr. Patil Saiabhin from Accenture, Bangalore, and esteemed professors from RGMCET, Dr. N. Madhusudhana Reddy, Dr. R Hanuma Naik, and Dr. B M Manjunatha, lent their expertise in evaluating the presentations. The event witnessed the active participation of all 55 teams, each offering their unique perspective and solution to contemporary challenges. Amidst anticipation, the winners emerged triumphant, with Team Rescue Rangers from Santhiram Engineering College clinching the 1st prize, followed by Team Vajra from RGMCET securing the 2nd prize. As the event drew to a close, heartfelt gratitude was extended to the jury members, marking the end of a day replete with innovation, collaboration, and celebration of intellectual prowess.
