The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IEEE Student Branch at Government Engineering College Idukki (GECI) for the year 2024 was conducted on March 6, 2024 at the Seminar hall,Admin block.The event aimed to discuss and present various reports, addresses, and plans for the upcoming year.

The event commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Nandana B, the Chairperson of IEEE WIE AG GECI for 2024. She expressed her gratitude to all the attendees and set a positive tone for the meeting. Following the welcome address, Sanjay B K, the Vice Chair of IEEE SB GECI for 2024, read the code of ethics, emphasizing the importance of ethical conduct in the field of engineering and technology. Dr.Joseph K D,Chapter Advisor of IEEE PES SBC GECI, delivered the Presidential Address.He captivated the audience, blending insightful perspectives and visionary ideas.The Inaugural Address was delivered by Dr.Suresh K, the Principal of Government Engineering College Idukki. Dr. Suresh K discussed the importance of IEEE in shaping the future of engineering education and research. His speech emphasized the role of IEEE SB GECI in promoting technical excellence among students.Adithyan P, the Chairperson of IEEE SB GECI for 2023, presented the chapter's achievements and activities from the previous year. He highlighted the successful events and initiatives organized by the student branch, showcasing the dedication and hard work of the members.Hemanth, the Treasurer of IEEE SB GECI for 2023, presented the Financial Report for the previous year. His report provided an overview of the financial transactions and expenditures of the student branch, ensuring transparency and accountability. Savitha G S, the Secretary of IEEE SB GECI for 2024, presented the Year Plan. She discussed the upcoming events, workshops, and projects planned for the year, encouraging active involvement and participation from the members.
