Technology Transfer
The School of Engineering and Technology, IEEE Student Branch, Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with IIC, hosted a session titled "Technology Transfer" for engineering students on February 13, 2024, starting at 10 AM in RJ103. The speakers for the session were Mr. Tapas Sharma, Innovation Ambassador, and Innovation Ambassador of Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh. It was a thought-provoking experience, highlighting the importance of understanding invention, innovation, design, and diffusion from users' perspectives through the lens of technology transfer. The session aimed to familiarize students with the process of transferring knowledge, innovation, and technologies between organizations or sectors, emphasizing the wide-ranging benefits such as economic growth, knowledge dissemination, and resource optimization.
