The IEEE HU Branch held a meeting to discuss plans for the upcoming academic semester. The branch holds frequent meetings to discuss the work, this meeting was particularly important as it took place after the conclusion of the first half of the year. The meeting aimed to outline key ways to enhance member engagement, and skill development, and lead the branch towards achieving its goals.

Exploration of the IEEE HU Winter Cup: Our meeting commenced with a thorough exploration of the feasibility and potential benefits of hosting the IEEE HU Winter Cup, an online competition aimed at showcasing technical expertise while fostering camaraderie among participants. Diverse ideas were exchanged regarding format, themes, and logistical considerations. Subsequent actions were delineated to initiate the planning phase.

Enhancement of Branch Booth Activities: Recognizing the significance of visibility and engagement within the university community, deliberations ensued regarding the augmentation of activities at our branch booth. Proposed strategies encompassed interactive displays, demonstrations, and informational sessions tailored to attract new members and disseminate awareness about IEEE HU's initiatives. A subcommittee was established to develop a comprehensive plan for booth activities.

Officer gathering: In an endeavor to fortify team cohesion and collaboration, plans were formulated for an officer gathering. This gathering will provide a conducive environment for officers to bond, exchange experiences, and align their efforts toward the common objectives of the branch.

Progress Update on Award Pursuits: Updates were provided on ongoing endeavors to apply for upcoming awards pertinent to our branch activities. A concerted effort was made to establish a timeline ensuring the timely compilation and submission of requisite documentation.
