Biography:

Since 2007 Sean Kelley has been in the power conversion industry working with electric motors, variable frequency drives, and gearboxes.  His career began as an electric motor and gearbox mechanic working for Integrated Power Services(IPS), one of the largest motor repair organizations in the country. Within a year of starting Sean was promoted as the gearbox coordinator for Siemens-Flender operating out of IPS-Denver.

In 2012 Sean joined the team at Dykman Electrical.  Starting as an inside salesperson, he quickly proved himself to be a vital asset to customers.  Continuing his pursuit of industry knowledge Sean has attended electric motor classes at Siemens, TECO-Westinghouse, and Toshiba. Furthermore, he is factory certified on Variable Frequency Drives for TECO-Westinghouse, Toshiba, Benshaw, Danfoss, and Yaskawa.  Today Sean is a certified drives specialist, and Authorized Service Provider including warranty work. This work is not limited to commissioning of new VFD’s but also in house troubleshooting and repairs.  Since 2015 Sean has represented Dykman as an Outside Salesman. In 2019 Sean was promoted to Branch Manager in his venture to take over the Oklahoma Dykman Branch.  In these roles, he is responsible for customer and team training, product development, new market penetration, as well as field customer support. Sean has a wide range of customers targeting the oil and gas, food and beverage, water and waste-water, mining, power generation, cement, aggregates, and the oem/packaged pump market. In his endeavors to lead the Oklahoma branch he managed to grow the branch’s overall sales by 74% in a span of 5 years along with the locations team of 6 full time employees. One of the things Sean has learned to embrace sharing his wealth of knowledge with customers to better understand the power conversion industry and the product lines he supports.

Prior to Sean’s career in the power conversion industry he was an Aviation Structural Mechanic in the Early Airborne Warning Squadron VAW-126 as an Active duty member of the United States Navy. Sean served in the Navy for 4 years and was honorably discharged in 2007.

Sean resides in Claremore Oklahoma where he lives with his wife and daughter.  In his free time you can find Sean coaching youth volleyball at the club/competitive level, riding one of his motorcycles, or behind the lens of his camera where he primarily shoots landscape photography.
