- Supporting Women in the Workplace (10-15 min). This will highlight initiatives in support of Women at Cadence Design Systems. Speaker from Cadence India.
- Phased Array Design Flow (30 min). The speaker presents a complete design flow that starts with creating a behavioral model based preliminary design to meet System requirements and ends with exporting the layout of the finalized design for PCB manufacturing.

Dr. Sylvia Lin of Product Engineering Director, Cadence Design System
Phased Array Design Flow
Dr. Sylvia will present a complete design flow that starts with creating a behavioral model based preliminary design to meet System requirements and ends with exporting the layout of the finalized design for PCB manufacturing.
Biography:
Sylvia Lin is a Product Engineering Director at Cadence Design Systems, where she manages the release of the AWR Microwave Office software. Prior to working for AWR, she designed MMIC and modules for several companies including Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems. With over twenty-five years of industry experience, she enjoys mentoring early career engineers and advocating for women. Sylvia now lives in Northern California with her family but misses the Los Angeles beaches she enjoyed while earning her Ph.D at UCLA.
