Peter Salerno of Stratus Concept LLC
Biography:
As owner and Principal Consultant of Stratus Concept LLC, I work with businesses in the Chicago area to optimize and
enhance their technology stack. My focus is on Cyber Security, Business Continuity, and Web/SaaS Integration. I am a
PMI certified PMP and an IEEE Senior Member with over 35 years of experience in computer systems & software,
telecommunications, and avionics. I have performed a wide range of roles from hardware and software design &
development engineering, project management, pre- and post-sales engineering, product marketing, business
development, and strategic alliance management. I have a BS in Engineering Science from the University of Steubenville.
I joined IEEE around 1977 and currently I am a Senior Member. Around 2011-2016 I helped Membership Recruitment
for the Chicago Section. I ran a 2014 hackathon for the Chicago Section.
I have been an AICN member since 2014 and I have presented to the group on setting up a professional website and on
cybersecurity.
