The IEEE Photonics Society of St. Joseph's College of Engineering Conducted ‘Cyber Ethics’, a technical online mode webinar for 2nd and 3rd year EEE students, on March 20th, 2024. The event aimed to inspire and motivate students to explore the field of Internet of Things based future among enthusiasts and featured a keynote address by Mohammed M. Alani Researcher at Toronto Metropolitan University (Previously Ryerson University),Professor of Cybersecurity at Seneca Polytechnic,Toronto, Canada. The event saw the cumulative participation of 30 students over Google Meet. The session was generally well-received by the participants and was very informative. Participants were also allowed to interact with the speaker and get answers to their queries regarding the Preparing for an IoT-based Future: A Security Perspective and IEEE as a whole. E-certificates were provided to all who participated in the event.
