The session commenced with journey of a Mr. Gagan Gupta as a successful software engineer and strategies for navigating the constantly evolving landscape of the computer industry. Mr. Gagan, originally from Alwar, Rajasthan, recounted his educational path, including earning his B.Tech from Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali. He initiated an Instagram platform to educate and inform people about developments in the CS-IT field. Mr. Gagan's early accomplishments included reaching the top 100 finalists in the HackWithinfy 2020 hackathon and commencing his career as a Specialist Programmer at Infosys.
Throughout the gathering, he elaborated on the steps for securing a position in a company, covering preparation techniques, identifying opportunities, and seizing them. Mr. Gagan emphasized that facing rejections is a typical aspect of striving for better positions in the future. Learning from mistakes and striving for improvement is crucial. The meeting concluded with a brief question and answer session, during which aspiring attendees sought clarification on various industry domains, exposure, and practical applications.
