IEEE, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, is the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology. It is the trusted voice for engineering, computing, and technology information around the globe. IEEE JHSB WIE is the third-best student branch following DTU and NSUT with 80+ participants divided into teams of Graphic Design, Editorial, PR, Event Management, and a lot many to get into. Our branch also conducts SIGs which help in learning coding, graphic designing, content writing, etc. IEEE helps in building and improving your personality and presents itself as a how-to for everyone willing to learn and grow.

Objectives:

1. To provide a platform for participants to brainstorm and develop innovative solutions using RPA technology and to encourage participants to explore new ideas and approaches to solve real-world problems.

2. To offer participants an opportunity to enhance their technical skills in RPA development, automation, programming, and problem-solving through hands-on experience and collaboration with peers.

3. To bring together individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise on the occasion of International Women’s Day, fostering a sense of community within the organization or the broader tech community.

4. RPA hackathons often revolve around specific challenges or use cases where RPA technology can be applied to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and reduce manual effort.

Context: The RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Hackathon organized by IEEE JHSB WIE is an event aimed at bringing together enthusiasts to explore and innovate within the realm of automation technology. This hackathon provides a platform for participants to engage in hands-on problem-solving, leveraging RPA tools and techniques to develop solutions for real-world challenges. Overall, the RPA Hackathon aims to inspire creativity, promote learning, and drive meaningful advancements in automation technology while contributing to the broader mission of IEEE in advancing technology for the benefit of humanity.

Evidence of Success

The success of the RPA Hackathon was evident in several ways:

1. The number of participants registered for the hackathon were 80+ and distributed amongst 30 teams can serve as an initial measure of interest and engagement within the community. A high level of participation indicates widespread interest in the event and the topic of RPA.

2. The quality and creativity of solutions developed during the hackathon can be assessed through judging criteria, peer evaluations, or expert reviews. Successful solutions should demonstrate innovation, feasibility, and effectiveness in addressing real-world challenges using RPA technology.

3. The level of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and networking among participants, mentors, sponsors, and industry experts can indicate the success of the event in fostering meaningful connections and partnerships within the community. The Hackathon included prestigious alumni from Jamia Hamdard Mr. Syed Zaman Akhtar who helped us procure the sponsorship of 50 thousand Rupees through Warpvelocity Technologies, Mr. Nikhil Kannan, Mr. Devendra Singh Dahiya, Ms. Nameera Khan who led the students through their expert judgements and Mr. Jatin Malhotra, the esteemed speaker a vibrant technical council member at Forbes and the CTO of Jorie Healthcare who shared his valuable insights and experiences with all participants presiding during the Hackathon.

In conclusion, evidence of success for the RPA Hackathon can be demonstrated through a combination of quantitative metrics, qualitative feedback, and tangible outcomes that highlight the event's impact on participants, the community, and the advancement of RPA technology.
