The IEEE Photonics Society of St. Joseph's College of Engineering Conducted ‘Photonexus’, a technical online mode webinar for 2nd and 3rd year EEE students, on March 16th, 2024. The event aimed to inspire and motivate students to explore the field of In-depth exploration of space applications among enthusiasts and featured a keynote address by Prof. Naeema Nazar, Assistant Professor at VISAT Engineering College IEEE Photonics Society Global Strategy Representative for India Kerala Student Branch Chapter Advisor of WIE, Comsoc. The event saw the cumulative participation of 23 students over Google Meet. The session was generally well-received by the participants and was very informative. Participants were also allowed to interact with the speaker and get answers to their queries regarding the In-depth exploration of space applications and IEEE as a whole. E-certificates were provided to all who participated in the event.
