Overview of EMC Standards

Overview of EMC Standards

This talk will provide an overview of EMC standards and how they tackle the same subject matter differently. How close are the component level radiated emissions tests from CISPR 25 and MIL-STD-461? If something has been tested to ISO 11452, does that mean it should also pass MIL-STD-461 RS103? Is there any alternative to the human body ESD model found in IEC 61000-4-2 (which is now also MIl-STD-461 CS118)? We'll be looking at standards from the military and automotive worlds, as well as the ANSI, IEEE, FCC, CISPR, IEC, etc.
