Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized an Expert Talk on “Air Traffic Control” in collaboration with Women in Engineering IEEE Affinity Group & IEEE student chapter, Integral University, Lucknow on 04th October 2016 (Tuesday) {IEEE Day}. Expert from Airport Authority of India deliver his talk about the importance of air traffic control.
The Talk was presided over by Convener, Prof. S. Hasan Saeed, HoD ECE, and was graced by presence of Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar Dean Engineering, Prof. B. P. Bhagat Ex-Director Airport authority of India and HoD/Deans of various departments. Expert is Mr. Saifullah Khalid, Manager, Air Traffic Control, Airport Authority of India, Lucknow.
In the First session, Prof. Saeed has welcomed the guest and participants. Mr. Khalid, has highlighted the importance of different type of air buses and their security issues. Where he described the importance of height between the air buses in the sky along with the role of air traffic control room. His presentation addressed common concerns in air traffic control.
Expert presentation was quite inspiring for the audience. Students had great time and a knowledgeable session with expert.
