IC Design Industrial Guest Lecture was successfully jointly organized by the IEEE Malaysia Section, IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Malaysia Chapter, IEEE UniMAP Student Branch, and the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Technology Universiti Malaysia Perlis on Thursday 18th April 2024 at 1800, in conjunction with the IEEE Education Week 2024 and IEEE CASS 75th Anniversary Global Celebration. 

 

The Industrial Guest Lecturer was Mr. Muhammad Farid Ilias, IC Layout Design Engineer at Ascend Microsystems. The lecture was moderated by Mr. Aidil Afiq Muhamed Hanif, a second-year Microelectronic Engineering student and a member of the IEEE CASS Malaysia Chapter and the IEEE UniMAP Student Branch.

This IC Design Industrial Guest Lecture was open to all especially undergraduate students in Electronic Engineering, and Microelectronic Engineering programs. IEEE and IEEE CASS Membership Drive were conducted at the beginning of the program. The program was held in hybrid mode; in-person at IC Design Lab, FKTEN UniMAP, and virtually via Microsoft Teams.
