Biography:

Andrea Bonetti, Senior Specialist at Megger Sweden AB, boasts a wealth of experience in power system protection and IEC 61850 applications. Holding a master's in electrical engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, in Italy, Andrea's career features 18 years at Hitachi Energy Grid Automation Products, 9 years at Megger as a product manager and technical specialist, and 5 years as power systems protection and IEC 61850 applications consultant. As a patent holder in IEC 61850 testing tools, he actively contributes to industry standardization and shares his expertise through guest lectures and teaching roles. Chairman of the IEC TC 95 Measuring relays and protection equipment and a recipient of the esteemed IEC 1906 award, Andrea is recognized as a respected leader in the energy industry.
