Introductory workshop on robotics - school girls
A workshop was held for school students to introduce them to robots and how they work and operate. In this workshop, some robots were reviewed and their working principle was explained in detail.
The workshop began with an introduction to the history of robots and their development over time, where different types of robots used in multiple fields such as industry, medicine, education, and others were reviewed. The importance of robots in improving the quality of life and facilitating daily operations was highlighted.
Then practical examples of some robots were presented, such as the robotic arm used in industrial production lines and the way it is controlled and carried out certain tasks. Smart robots that rely on machine learning and artificial intelligence, such as robots used in educational and entertainment robots, were also reviewed.
The workshop included interactive activities such as building and programming some simple robots, allowing students to experience practical work and understand how robots are programmed to perform specific tasks.
Students received an enjoyable and beneficial educational experience, as they became more understanding of technology and engineering and its applications in their daily lives and future careers.
