The British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority, operating as BC Hydro, is a Canadian electric utility in the province of British Columbia. It is the main electricity distributor, serving more than 4 million customers in most areas. As a provincial Crown corporation, BC Hydro reports to the BC Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation, and is regulated by the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC). Its mandate is to generate, purchase, distribute and sell electricity.

The IEEE PES Vancouver chapter is excited to bring this wonderful tour to the BC Hydro Control Centre on May 15th, 2024. 

Registration is required for this event as seats are limited. The deadline for the registration closes on April 30th. 2024, at 5:00 PM PST. 

Please provide your Name, Company and Position/Role in the "Special Request Field" when filling out the registration form. This is a requirement to confirm your registration.

Registrants will be notified by email to confirm their spot for the tour and to provide the location of the tour. As seats are limited, we may not be able to accommodate all registrants. If some registrants are unable to participate because of the limited number of seats, they will be placed on a waiting list and another tour may be scheduled for these registrants at a later date.
