Biography:
Dr. Ramkumar Rajendran is an Associate Professor in the Inter-Disciplinary Programme in Educational Technology and the Centre for Machine Intelligence and Data Science (CMInDS) at the IITB. Before his current role, he worked as a research scholar at Vanderbilt University and as an Assistant Manager at NEC Central Research Laboratory in Japan. Dr. Rajendran's research interests span Learning Analytics, Affective Computing, Educational Data Mining, Intelligent Learning Environments, Self-regulated Learning, MOOC Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing, and Deep Learning. Ramkumar received a Ph.D. from IITB-Monash Research Academy, IITB, India, and Monash University, Melbourne. He served as a Program Chair and Track Chair for various international conferences, including LAK, T4E, ICALT, and ICCE. His research has garnered support from funding bodies such as SERB, i-Hub, and various education foundations.
