Biography:

Assist. Prof. Akhil Kallepalli is a Strathclyde Chancellor’s Fellow (as Lecturer or Assistant Professor) and Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the University of Strathclyde. His focus and interest are translational classical and quantum optics, with a primary interest in bringing these techniques to point-of-care diagnostics. His multi-disciplinary journey includes contributions in remote sensing, hyperspectral imaging, fundamental physics and biophotonics. Beyond academia, he actively contributes to the IEEE and IEEE Photonics Society and is an advocate for building mental health resilience through his enterprise, Aces Consulting Limited.
