Mike Oliver

Biography:

Mike Oliver has been an Electrical/EMC Engineer since 1989 and currently holds three
patents on thermal management-EMI/RFI shielding devices. Mike is an iNARTE certified Master EMC
Design Engineer and has a solid record of achievements in product development, project management,
EMC design, prototyping, and testing. He is experienced in the design and test of aerospace antennas,
military electrical systems, and EMC shielding components. Mike has performed open and anechoic
chamber EMC radiated tests to MIL-STD 461 and has utilized many antenna and RF testing hardware
systems. He has written numerous technical papers on electromagnetic shielding components, product
enhancement, and test specifications for military antenna/radome, O.A.T.S., and anechoic chamber
measurements.
Mike is Vice President of Electrical / EMC Engineering at MAJR Products Corporation in charge of
customer EMC design and consulting, new product development, and is the ISO-9001:2008
management representative. Mike is a Senior member of IEEE, Founder and Chairman of the IEEE
EMC Society Pittsburgh Chapter, Co-Chairman of the SAE AE-4 E3 Aerospace Committee, Technical
Advisor to the Academy of Science representing EMC in automobiles related to unintended
acceleration, and member of the IEEE EMC Standards and Advisory Coordination Committee
(SACCom) Societies. Mike was Chairman of the 2012 IEEE EMC Symposium in Pittsburgh PA.
