Annual General Meeting 2024 of KLS GIT
The IEEE Student Branch at KLS GIT hosted its Annual General Meeting on January 27th, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the prestigious Silver Jubilee Auditorium at KLS GIT. The event garnered significant participation, with the presence of esteemed guests, including the Branch Counselor, student chapter advisers, coordinators, and two distinguished alumni. A key highlight of the event was the installation ceremony for the
newly elected Executive Committee (EXECOM) members, symbolizing the commencement of a new term and a fresh wave of leadership within the IEEE Student Branch. Acknowledging the contributions of the previous EXECOM, a Certificate of Appreciation was conferred upon the members of the outgoing tenure. This gesture recognized their dedication, hard work, and the positive impact they made during their term, fostering a sense of accomplishment and gratitude within the community. Warren Veigas, the Secretary of EXECOM 2023, presented the Secretarial Report, offering insights into the accomplishments, initiatives, and activities undertaken by the EXECOM during the previous tenure. The financial aspect of the IEEE Student Branch activities was transparently communicated through a Financial Report, presented by Prof Abhishek Deshmukh, the Branch Counselor of KLS GIT. The report detailed the financial management and allocation of resources, ensuring accountability and fostering trust among the IEEE community. The event was further enriched by the presence of two esteemed alumni, who shared their experiences and insights, inspiring the current IEEE members and offering valuable perspectives on the role of IEEE in shaping their professional journeys.
